Hyundai Tucson N Line arrives in Europe

After providing the i30 and Veloster with the N Line treatment, Hyundai has rolled out the sporty N Line version of the Tucson in the European market. The Tucson is the first N Line SUV for Hyundai and features exterior and interior elements inspired by N, Hyundai’s high-performance range.The front is characterized by redesigned bumpers and a dark mesh-pattern grille framed by a dark frame. Black-bezel headlamps, daytime running lights with LED design and darkened window frames in combination with body-colored door handles also help create a more dynamic look for the Tucson N Line.[gallery size="full" ids="8004,8005,8002,8001,8003,8006"]Inside the car, consumers can enjoy N-branded leather-suede sport seats and red accent stitching on the steering wheel and seats. Alloy pedals and the leather-wrapped, red-accented N gear shift lever are also part of the N Line enhancements.[gallery size="full" ids="8012,8011,8009,8010,8008"]In terms of performance, there aren’t any power upgrades over the standard model. Available with a choice between front- and all-wheel drive along with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the new Hyundai Tucson N Line is available with a 1.6-liter 174 bhp petrol engine, a 134 bhp 1.6-liter diesel engine and another 182 hp 2.0-liter diesel engine.[gallery size="full" ids="8015,8014"]Suspension springs on these top Tucson N Line trims offer 5% greater rigidity in the rear setup and 8% more in the front, while software changes in the steering give a slightly more direct, linear feel at the wheel.[gallery size="full" ids="8017,8018"]The new Tucson N Line is designed, tested and built in Europe and it is available across Europe in nine different body paint options.
